Colors & Tone CD Release Party

We invite you to come to our CD release party June 5th 2010! The doors open at 7 and the concert starts at 7:30. Admission is $20, which includes a CD and light refreshments. General admission is $12 and still includes light refreshments. The event is taking place at The House which is located at 1-240 Lougheed Road . ARTS IN BLOOM – Gala Concert – Creekside Theatre, Lake Country

This fund raising event is focusing on featuring a select few of phenomenal young artist performers, some of whom have performance experience with the VSO and the OSO. The top young artist performers of B.C. are “standing ovation calibre”, some with national & international experience. Okanagan Valley talents are– Alicia & Colleen Venables – piano & violin, Trio Tessitura- Bethany Edwards piano + Christina Klassen cello+ Jana Luksts violin, Haley Blais – voice & visual arts, Dance City Academy “Sing” – tap dance, Kai & Sage Kirk – violin & dance, Melissa Tao – piano, visual & language arts, Janel Filipiak – voice & music theatre, Rachel Pavlakovic – voice & music theatre. Special guest performer is Raymond Zeng of Vancouver – piano & piano composition.
The faculty team for Summer Arts Scene For Youth will promote the August 1-August 7, 2010 youth arts workshop event and offer onsite registration. There will be a silent auction including artwork. Lattes and Viennese Coffees will be available for sale through The Bean Scene. An assortment of delicious desserts will also be offered. All ticket proceeds go to support the August 1-7, 2010 Summer Arts Scene For Youth workshops event at the Creekside Theatre.
